Committee Bio 

The Security Council is the highest ranking body in the United Nations. It is tasked with maintaining global peace and security and is comprised of only 15 members, 5 of which are permanent. The UNSC is an advanced committee for experienced delegates who are prepared to delve into a challenging and exciting debate on relevant global security issues. At GMUN 2018, the topic will be the ongoing Yemen crisis.
